File formats we accept for offset printing

Graphic Files need to be created the correct way from the start, saved within specific parameters, contain graphics of the correct resolution and be submitted to us in the appropriate file type.

Basically, any file created in Microsoft Software e.g. Paint, Word, Powerpoint & Publisher is not suitable for offset printing since these programs create files in low resolution format, which is fine for home or office printing but not for commercial offset printing. The only way to surpass this limitation is to set up your printer to print high quality PDF versions of your files.

We recommend saving your file/s in the following formats:

  • Press Quality PDF (Highly Recommended)
  • PSD (Adobe Photoshop)
  • EPS (Encapsulated Post Script)
  • AI (Adobe Illustrator)
  • CDR (Corel Draw)
  • JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group)
  • TIFF (Tagged Image File Format)
  • PNG
We Prefer that you send Press Quality PDF or EPS with outlined fonts. These files are easier to handle and will likely speed up your turn-around. Remember to flatten files before uploading.

NOTE:
Send only the files that you want printed, don’t send samples, drafts or any other files. Submit each side of your print job in a separate files with clear and descriptive file names.
